I re-watched AVP on blu-ray an hour ago. It was a whole new experience watching the movie. I was impressed by the sharper image and sound clarity, especially during action sequences. Even though they are rather pricey, Blu-ray discs are still worth the investment. Without any other home movie entertainment medium to compete with, Blu-ray will stay right at the top and clinch the market dominance for a long time to come. The VCD medium is pretty much on its way to extinction. Dvd are doing ok due to mass production and lowered prices. But, do watch out for china duplicates that look exactly like the originals. And they are selling it at a fraction of the original price. :) I remember watching a news report on this the other day.
Alright, time to hit the sack. One more day to the weekend! Countdown!
