Monday without the blues

flunk my 2.4 km run by 1 minute 30 seconds. Blame it on lunch that inflicted the stitch during the excruciating run. I am undergoing muscle pain as we speak. And I have salom-plas all over. Two more days to go for reservist. I think I am getting very uses this kind of life at camp.
Ordered a google phone over the internet several days ago. It has not been shipped out when I checked it last like a couple of minutes ago. Why? I am eager to get my hands on that baby. :)

Sunday and a day before thre return to school

Sunday. Showers in morning and late afternoon, temperature between 33 to 35 degrees.
I am busy with Bioshock 2 and I am not going back to work tomorrow because I have yet completed my fulfillment at reservist.
I hope a good samaritan, sends me my time tabling for term 4, before Thursday. :)
I have not been keeping up with the reading of other people's blog nor have I got the interest to update mine at the same time. What's happening to me?

One day to the weekend and 3 days to school reopening

I have not been updating this blog. Lately I have lost the interest to write. I do have a few issues that I would pretty much like to discuss. But, these topics are too controversial and likely to make eyes roll. Don't believe me? Just wait and see. They are all parked aside in my head, standing by for the right time to be written out here. Ha!

I have been back for reservist since the beginning of the week. I bumped into some familiar faces. We had the opportunity to catch up. It is Nice to see people transcend to a different plane in their lives. Some are in the midst of becoming somebody's father. :)

Tentatively, i will not be returning to work before the 30th of the month. This gives me a little breather from the frantic beginning on the first day of school re-open.

Not in the mood for laughs

I am listening to Green Day's Last Night on Earth and sipping on a glass of 2007 Shiraz. Weather is cool and nice out, due to the heavy after-showers in the morning. I hope the weather stays like this throughout the week. :)

I met up with the boss today and had a causal heart-to-heart chat about work. I am beginning to grasp the gist of how to express my thought process in logical rational conversations. I am becoming more socially acceptable. I think.

Come Friday, it will be the time for me to dawn the green. I hope I have the mental and physical strength to last two solid weeks of God knows what kind of strenuous activities. If there is a God, can you make me a WOMAN?

I first heard this track on cassette tape during the 80s. You cannot possibly imagine the hassle of playing a song and having to rewind it, so that you can listen to that same song all over again. Back then, it was a novelty to own a portable cassette tape player. I had one. Actually I had quite a few. Why? I did not bother to take care them; rugged use.

A brand new week ahead

Attended Ms Siva's ROM wedding reception yesterday evening. It was quite an eye-opener. You cannot possibly ask for more considering the decent size of the banquet and the elaborate arrangements of the ROM ceremony that encompasses the traditional Hindu customary practices. It would have been a good National Geographic piece. :P

This is Monday. And I have exactly a week to my annual vacation, A.K.A "IN-CAMP". I have gotta get in shape for reservist next week. 7 days ain't much, so there is no time to waste.

I finally got hold of my new Rock Band Drum Kit. (Thank you DHL for delivering it on a SUNDAY) MUAK!!!

Weekend arrives. Lousy turn out at today's EL coaching. I think I am loosing them. In one way of another, they are drifting away. The second part of this journey to 'O' Levels has to depend on themselves. So either you wake up and do something or else time will run out and by the time you want to do something, it will be too late.
- I am planning on doing some marking over the weekend and start on my mini stop-motion video project. :)
