Sunday and last day of Sitex IT show 2009

Decided NOT to go to Sitex. I was told that this year they are not over-stocking for Sitex show, therefore there will not be any price reduction on the last day. Got myself a canon printer and a buffalo external drive station from the show. I am going to get a microsoft keyboard at Westmall later. That will wrap up my claims for the year. This is the second week of the December holiday and I am not feeling the least relax. Strange feeling.

Thursday

Went to Sitex today. Crowd was crazy but not as crazy as I would have expected them to be. The makan places were like all packed with super long queues. Thanks to Mr Woo who braved the wolf-packs and got us lunch at BK. Went home feeling okay but not entirely satisfied with my Canon laser printer and my Buffalo external hard drive. The dude whom I went with got a bag full of goodies; a blue tooth head-set that comes with FM radio, a Fujifilm 10 megapixel digital camera with 10 times zoom. And not to mention some Big fish games for work. :P H-A-P-P-Y!

I have been spending sleepless night and countless hours trying to level up my rogue in Dragon-age.

Their attire make them look super "gay", but they make those tough work-out routines look easy. Trust me! It isn't. I have yet seen a proper push up in NSS. Time for me to get back in shape.

I hope to see this in a theater on November 20th. If it is heading straight to video, I am going to rent it. A real story about Michael Oher's life. WATCH IT!!!! MUST WATCH!!

Xmas comes early

Orchard Road, Christmas lights up early this year. I am thinking of turkey and log cakes already. yummy!
I am so looking forward to watching this animation by Disney. And it is on IMAX 3D. WOW!! They have a Christmas Carol movie train. OMG!

Mid week - Thursday

My right eye lid is twitching non-stop. Wondering what is wrong with me. Some say it is due to lack of sleep, stress and excessive caffeine. I found out the following info. Don't know to believe it or not to.

Wednesday, back-date

No news yet. They said the 18th is the day I should watch out for. Not sure where I will be heading in 2010, but I am prepared for the worst. So nothing is going to burst my bubbles.
2011 opens tomorrow and I choose not to watch it so soon. The packing crowd and on top of the squeezing and long queue, it will definitely be a party pooper.

I re-watched AVP on blu-ray an hour ago. It was a whole new experience watching the movie. I was impressed by the sharper image and sound clarity, especially during action sequences. Even though they are rather pricey, Blu-ray discs are still worth the investment. Without any other home movie entertainment medium to compete with, Blu-ray will stay right at the top and clinch the market dominance for a long time to come. The VCD medium is pretty much on its way to extinction. Dvd are doing ok due to mass production and lowered prices. But, do watch out for china duplicates that look exactly like the originals. And they are selling it at a fraction of the original price. :) I remember watching a news report on this the other day.
Alright, time to hit the sack. One more day to the weekend! Countdown!

Glad to be away from school for a few days. And I am buddying up with Woo for a retail training at NTUC. Today we are visiting the hypermart in Jurong Point and we will get a bird's eye view on all the different operations. 8 hours straight in a hyper-mart. Who can beat that?
